It is funny... we have already come to the 3rd day of the e-pedagogy course; (more than half finished), and it feels like we just started. i
It has been very hectic days, -- and when I as a teacher; planning and preparing and in a way one of the persons that should be in controll (hopefully?) ; I hahrdly dare to think of how the students have experienced these days!!
(Even though I guess i will get a feeling of this when I opens their blogs in a few minutes time....)
But before this; I will return to the ways of assessing if the students has met their learning objectives, as I promised to do after just mention the acronyms in my blog the first day.
In a meeting in Amsterdam Remmelt told us of the (And here I quote from my notes):
"There are 3 instruments related to reflection in competence developments: SMART, STAR & PAP. These will guide students to state their own learning goals and development working with a Competence Based Curriculum Plan:
Students should set learning goals which are SMART: Specific, Measurable, Assignable, Realistic, Time schedule
Have individual coaching, talks about aims and ways of doing this, has to state this in writing, (with own words)
STARR: Situation, Task, Action, Results, Reflection
Students tell what they have learn from this. Will see both sides: What have they learnt, what has been the development in their practice. But also, did we give then enough tools/ support for reaching these goals? Should we change their reading list, our lectures, and other thing to meet their goals??
PAP: Personal Action Plan
What have they done, what do they plan to do for the next learning period…?
Well, this is what I wrote in my notes; -- but please guys; you are much more familiar with working with a Competance Based Curricullum plan than me. Do you se any mistakes here, please tell me!
And now I have to check som of my students blogs.... We met tomorrow!
